The Dangling Chimes

Hanging chimes through the aimless times,
Telling a story that few recognize,

Playing with winds like they are age old friends,
Unwittingly in the process, making their presence felt,

Hearing the sounds of the dangling chimes,
Mesmerizes me within a matter of time

As I get blissfully involved, in the heavenly sounds
I feel my soul without any wounds

I wasn’t fortunate enough for the sensation to last,
As I hear the knock on my door as a deep impact.
